SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Week one of the Capital One Mascot Challenge officially begins on Monday with Syracuse's Otto the Orange squaring off against Big Red of Western Kentucky University throughout the week. OrangeNation can help Otto win this match-up by voting at Otto's page and using #CapitalOneOtto.
This week's challenge is TAILGATE! Upload photos/videos of yourself tailgating or grilling in your Orange gear to give Otto 100-points. Remember, the photos/videos must be uploaded to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #CaptialOneOtto in order to be counted. For a 50-point vote, simply post to Facebook or tweet what you think Otto would be grilling at a tailgate party, using #CapitalOneOtto.

The challenge is a 16-week program, consisting of a 12-week regular season and four-week playoff. Otto will compete in weekly head-to-head match-ups against another school's mascot, with the winner determined by which tallies the most points that week. Match-ups will be announced every Monday morning, along with "challenges" for the fans, beginning on Aug. 25.
After uploading, your photos/videos may be featured on Capital One's gallery (launching soon), as well as at Cuse.com's Social Stadium!
