
Bonnies Back On Syracuse Hoop Schedule

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse and St. Bonaventure will meet on the hardwood for the first time since 2009 when the Orange host the Bonnies on Nov. 17 in the Carrier Dome.
The Orange own a 23-3 advantage in the all-time series with St. Bonaventure and have won the last 13 pairings. The Syracuse streak includes an 85-72 decision on Dec. 19, 2009. St. Bonaventure's most recent victory in the series was a 74-71 triumph on Jan. 26, 1981.
The Bonnies were 18-13 overall and 10-8 in the Atlantic 10 Conference a season ago. Coach Mark Schmidt has logged eight seasons as St. Bonaventure's head coach, and owns a 124-121 record. He guided the Bonnies to the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2011-12.
Syracuse approaches the 2015-16 campaign with a streak of 44 consecutive winning seasons – the longest active streak in the Division I ranks. The Orange posted an 18-13 overall mark last year.
Coach Jim Boeheim enters his 40th season as Syracuse head coach.
Deposits for 2015-16 Men's Basketball season tickets are on sale now for only $125 each, and provide priority seating before the general public on-sale, which begins August 25. Individual game tickets will go on sale to the general public on October 14.
