Wear your favorite orange Syracuse gear for Sept. 9 ACC opener
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange will be the color of the day when the Syracuse football team hosts Louisville in its Atlantic Coast Conference opener Friday, Sept. 9 at the Carrier Dome. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite orange 'Cuse gear for an 'Orange Out' against the Cardinals.
To celebrate the occasion, all Syracuse fans are invited to submit designs for the official 'Orange Out' t-shirt. The winning design will be chosen in an online vote in July, and the T-shirts will be available for purchase at participating retail stores in August. Details on the contest and instructions on how to submit designs will be announced soon.
Sept. 9 is also 'Medical Appreciation Night' in honor of all members of the medical profession who work to keep our communities healthy. A special group ticket rate will be available for doctors, nurses, hospital employees, and all other medical professionals and office groups. Those interested in taking advantage of this special offer should call 1-888-DOMETIX to reserve seats.
This year's home football schedule features six games. In addition to the Cardinals, the Orange hosts Colgate (Sept. 2), USF (Sept. 17), Virginia Tech (Oct. 15), NC State (Nov. 12) and Florida State (Nov. 19).Â
Season tickets are on sale now online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Tickets start at $99 ($16.50 per game) with lower-level seats in the end zones available for as little as $125. The deadline for 2015 season ticket holders to renew their seats is April 29.
Â
Single-game tickets for all home games except Florida State go on sale June 21. Tickets to watch the Orange and Seminoles are tentatively scheduled to go on sale July 26. Tickets start at $20 for non-conference games, $25 for the Louisville and NC State games, and $30 for the Virginia Tech and Florida State contests.
