Orange And Raiders Schedule 169th Meeting

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Central New York neighbors Syracuse and Colgate have scheduled the 169th meeting between the two men's basketball programs on Friday, November 11, in the Carrier Dome. The Raiders are Syracuse's most frequent opponent.
Syracuse has a 123-45 advantage in the all-time series which dates to the 1901-02 campaign. The Orange have captured the last 50 meetings, including a 78-51 victory last winter.
Colgate was 13-17 overall and 9-9 in the Patriot League a season ago. Matt Langel is in his sixth season as Colgate's head coach. He has led Colgate to a 61-95 record.
Syracuse reached its sixth NCAA Final Four last year, capping off a 23-14 campaign.
Coach Jim Boeheim enters his 41st season as Syracuse head coach.
