Mullin Brings Red Storm To The Dome

    SYRACUSE, NY – Former BIG EAST Conference standout Chris Mullin returns as coach of his alma mater when St. John's plays Syracuse at the Carrier Dome on Wednesday, December 21.
Syracuse leads the all-time series with St. John's, 51-39. The Red Storm won last year's encounter in Madison Square Garden, 84-72, and the previous year's matchup in the Dome, 69-57. The Orange had won nine straight in the series prior to that.
Mullin took his first college head coaching job with his alma mater a year ago. The Red Storm finished 8-21 overall in Mullin's rookie campaign.
Syracuse reached its sixth NCAA Final Four in 2016, capping off a 23-14 campaign.
Coach Jim Boeheim enters his 41st season as Syracuse head coach.
