Miller Named CHA Goalie of the Month

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – College Hockey America has named Abbey Miller the Goalie of the Month for February, the league announced on Wednesday, March 1.
Miller registered three shutouts during the month, surpassing the Syracuse and CHA single-season record with eight on the season. The Anoka, Minnesota, native has a 1.61 goals against average for the season, the best mark in the CHA and the seventh best in the country. Her eight shutouts are tied for the third most in the nation. She gave up only five goals in six games in February.
This is the second consecutive CHA Goalie of the Month honors for Miller after earning the same honor for January. During the month, Miller had a 178:17 scoreless streak, the longest in school history and had back-to-back shutouts against Lindenwood.
Miller and the Orange will be in semifinal action on Friday, March 3 in Buffalo, N.Y. in the CHA Tournament. All games will be played at the HARBORCENTER. Syracuse will play the highest remaining seed left in the tournament following the quarterfinal round. Puck drop for the Orange's game will be approximately 7 p.m.
