'Cuse Football Theme Days Offer Something for Everyone

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Head coach Dino Babers and the 2017 Syracuse Orange will kick off the season Friday, Sept. 1 against Central Connecticut State. The gridiron season-opener will jumpstart Syracuse Athletics' "Kick Off Weekend," which will feature men's and women's soccer matches and a pair of field hockey games during the first week of the fall semester. Syracuse's seven-game home football schedule features many opportunities for fan engagement and community participation.

Legends Weekend | Youth Football Clinic – Syracuse vs. Middle Tennessee – Sept. 9
All fans are invited to join us in celebrating Legends Weekend as the Syracuse Football Club holds its annual reunion and honors the 2017 Zunic Award winner. A youth football clinic will take place prior to the game. Area teams can register for the pre-game clinic by placing a deposit on 15 group tickets. The first 100 participants to sign up have the opportunity to form a pre-game tunnel to welcome the Orange onto the field. To purchase tickets and to speak with a group sales coordinator, please call 888-DOME-TIX.

Medical Appreciation Day | Girl Scouts Day – Syracuse vs. Central Michigan – Sept. 16
Medical Appreciation Day will honor of all members of the medical profession for their dedication to keeping our communities healthy. A special group-ticket rate is available for doctors, nurses, hospital employees, and all other medical professionals and office groups (call 888-DOME-TIX to participate).

In addition, Syracuse Athletics and the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways have teamed up to create a special day for all Girl Scouts in attendance. The day starts with a pre-game clinic and an opportunity to earn a scout badge and a patch. The first troops to sign up will also have the opportunity to be on the field pre-game to form the tunnel that leads the team out onto the field. Call 888-DOME-TIXÂ for details.

Homecoming | Cheer and Dance Day | Orange Out – Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh – Oct. 7
Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite orange 'Cuse gear for an "Orange Out'" against the Panthers, as the University welcomes back alumni for Homecoming and Orange Central. Syracuse fans are invited to participate in the second annual Orange Out T-Shirt Contest. The winning design will win a Syracuse Athletics prize pack and have their winning design featured on the official "Orange Out" t-shirt.

The team will have additional support in the form of area cheerleading and dance teams as part of Cheer and Dance Day. The Syracuse University Cheerleaders and Lady Orange Dancers will host a clinic on the Quad prior to the game. All in attendance will learn Syracuse cheers and a routine during the clinic. Participants will join the Syracuse Cheerleaders and Lady Orange Dancers on the field at halftime to help pump up the crowd prior to the start of the second half. On Friday, Oct. 13, Syracuse welcomes defending national champion Clemson to the Carrier Dome during Family Weekend. Hosted by the Syracuse University Parents Office, Family Weekend invites friends and family of current Syracuse students to partake in campus events, including the Orange football game, lectures on campus and more. Military Appreciation Day | 'Cuse for the Troops – Syracuse vs. Wake Forest – Nov. 11
The seventh annual Military Appreciation Day celebration will feature the 'Cuse for the Troops campaign. Active military members, veterans, and their families who qualify will receive complimentary tickets to watch the Orange and Demon Deacons. All Orange fans, donors, season-ticket holders and businesses are invited to partner with Syracuse Athletics to thank active and retired service members by sponsoring tickets for them to attend the game. Senior Day | Band Day – Syracuse vs. Boston College – Nov. 25
Syracuse's final home game of the season will honor the 2017 Senior Class and recognize the area's outstanding high school bands as part of Band Day. Member's of Otto's Kids Club and Otto's Reading Program will also be recognized.

The first 15 high school bands to sign up will participate in a pre-game performance on the Quad and a halftime performance on the field with the Syracuse University Marching Band – the "Pride of the Orange." Participants will receive a Band Day t-shirt. High school band directors can call 888-DOME-TIX to register their band and receive a game itinerary and music.
All Otto's Kids Club members in attendance will be invited to attend a pre-game meet. They will also be part of a group photo on the field after the game. Kids ages 14 and under are invited to join Otto's Kids Club online.

Otto's Reading Program presented by Driver's Village
Otto's Reading Program, presented by Driver's Village, rewards academic excellence in local schools. The program offers free tickets to students who meet their school's qualifying standard. The high-achieving students will be honored during Syracuse's game against Boston College on Nov. 25. To sign up for Otto's Reading Program, presented by Driver's Village, school officials should call 888-DOME-TIX.

A new feature for 2017 is individual game pre-purchased parking passes for the Skytop lots ($15 per game). The passes will be available online, by phone (888-DOME-TIX) or at the Carrier Dome Box Office when individual game tickets go on sale.

All season and group tickets are on sale now online and by phone (888-DOME-TIX). Season tickets start at $125, a savings of more than 15 percent compared to single-game prices. Tickets for groups of 15 or more start at $20 per ticket.

Individual Game Tickets
Individual game tickets will be available in late May or early June, while partial-plan ticket packages will go on sale in early May. An exclusive pre-sale for Orange Club members and Syracuse University alumni to purchase single-game tickets will precede the public on-sale. Information regarding the pre-sale will be sent via email. Individual game tickets start at $25 for non-conference games and $30 for Atlantic Coast Conference contests.

All recent Syracuse University graduates have a special invitation from their alma mater – enjoy all the Orange action in the Carrier Dome at a discounted price in a designated seating location. Football season tickets for the Syracuse classes of 2013 through 2017 are just $100 and will be located in Section 108, which is adjacent to the student section. Syracuse men's basketball recent graduate tickets are also on-sale now at $250 per seat. The price for each package includes an Orange Club preferred donation for the opportunity to start building priority points, which determine eligibility for tickets to postseason games and tournaments.
